Anonymizer is developed and sold by Imaging Future ApS, Denmark (CVR 39749092).

Imaging Future ApS is the data controller for personal data processed under this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise stated.

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal data collected in connection with:

• website usage
• product downloads
• account or license management
• billing and subscriptions
• customer support
• optional usage statistics, if enabled by the user

3. Local Processing

Anonymizer is designed so that document processing occurs locally on the user’s device.

We do not collect, upload, store, or process customer documents or document content as part of normal product use.

We do not use customer data or documents for training purposes.

Uploaded files, generated processing files, and related temporary outputs are stored locally on the user’s own device by default. The application uses local temporary storage as standard, but Anonymizer also supports an optional Secure Workspace Mode, in which document and batch processing can instead use a user- or organization-defined workspace path, for example on a managed encrypted volume.

If a configured workspace path is unavailable or invalid, the application falls back to standard local temporary storage to preserve operational reliability.

8. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary for service delivery, legal compliance, and legitimate business purposes.

For local processing files and related temporary outputs, automatic cleanup is enabled by default with a default retention period of 30 days, which the user can change. Users can also trigger immediate cleanup at any time.

When cleanup runs, the application deletes source files and derivative outputs from the active local storage location and attempts secure deletion where supported by the environment.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. However, no system is completely secure.

Data may be processed outside your country. Where required, appropriate safeguards are applied.
